New/Updated Instrument
Modules
The following instrument support files have been modified or
enhanced since the release of v10. If you are using any of these instruments, you should
use these new or updated instrument modules.
To install these new or updated instruments,
activate the Studio window in your application and choose "Studio/Install
Instruments from/Sound Quest's Web Site" from the menus.
If the computer with Midi Quest
installed on it is not
connected to the internet, you can download the files and install them from
the Studio Window using "Studio/Install Instruments from/Disk...".
While we recommend using a dedicated FTP application, files can also be downloaded using
most browsers. Please use the following application/urls:
Dedicated FTP applications ftp.soundquest.org
with username: "MidiQuest10@soundquest.org"
and password: "MidiQuest10Download"
Internet Explorer: ftp://MidiQuest10%40soundquest.org@soundquest.org
Firefox: ftp://MidiQuest10%40soundquest.org@soundquest.org
Safari: not supported, please use a dedicated ftp application
Macintosh users: we recommend downloading with Firefox or a dedicated ftp application such
as Filezilla
When requested, enter the username and/or
password
Username: MidiQuest10@soundquest.org
Password: MidiQuest10Download
After reaching the site, click on "MidiQuest10" to enter the
instrument modules folder and click on your instruments to download them.

supported by Midi Quest XL, Midi Quest and UniQuest, only a list of updated modules. For a
