Midi Quest 10 for Updates & Service Packs

Version 10.0.4 is now available for download.

To install the update, double click on the downloaded .exe file. 

These files are located in a password protected directory. To download the file, your username and password will be requested. These were provided with your original download instructions. If you do not have a username and password, please complete the product registration form then contact Sound Quest at sales@squest.com with your product serial number and request a username and password.

New/Updated Instrument Modules

The following instrument support files have been modified or enhanced since the release of v10. If you are using any of these instruments, you should use these new or updated instrument modules. 

To install these new or updated instruments, activate the Studio window in your application and choose "Studio/Install Instruments from/Sound Quest's Web Site" from the menus. 

If no instruments are displayed, connect to one of the following alternate sites by entering the following FTP parameters:

Press the << Connect to button, select the instruments you wish to install, and proceed.

If the computer with Midi Quest installed on it is not connected to the internet, you can download the files and install them from the Studio Window using "Studio/Install Instruments from/Disk...". Files can be downloaded using the following urls:

Internet Explorer: ftp://MidiQuest10%40soundquest.org@soundquest.org
Firefox: ftp://MidiQuest10%40soundquest.org@soundquest.org
Dedicated FTP applications use username "MidiQuest10@soundquest.org" and password "MidiQuest10Download", site ftp.soundquest.org
Safari: ftp://MidiQuest10@soundquest.org
Macintosh users: we recommend Firefox or a dedicated ftp application such as CyberDuck

When requested, enter the username and/or password

Username: MidiQuest10
Password: MidiQuest10Download

After reaching the site, click on "MidiQuest10" to enter the instrument modules folder and click on your instruments to download them.
